twenty years ago i bumped in to a long absent friend on the morning of christmas eveshe told me her back had been broken nine months previously when she was hit by a car driven by thievesshe was now encased in polypropylene from waist to chestthis was her first day out and she intended to walk the length of the high street to place a christmas order at the butcher's shopshe shuffled off and then paused but didn't or couldn't turn around to call out ...think positive, tristan, think positive !
