I was inspired to start this site by the Oxford English Dictionary Word of the Day. and Writer's Almanac. I'm fascinated by language and with over 3 billion cell phone users worldwide (11/07) texting is on the bleeding edge of language evolution. I went looking for a similar service for texting terms and found nothing. Ah ha! An unmet need! TTOTD is the result.
